Advanced Threat Assessment: K-12 School Safety Training

Kevin Smith, founder and principal of SMITH STRATEGICS, will be conducting the training course “Advanced Threat Assessment: K-12 School Safety ” on October 20, 2026, in San Francisco, California.

This 8-hour course is designed for K-12 school safety professionals and stakeholders, including law enforcement, SROs, teachers, school administrators, school psychologists, mental health professionals and other school district personnel with security responsibilities.

The course is designed to equip attendees with the skills and tools necessary to conduct evidence-based behavioral threat assessments in the K-12 school setting.

The course also addresses youth radicalization and extremism in schools, including an examination of nihilistic violent extremist (“NVE”) threats and the True Crime Community (“TCC”).
